Volvo Strengthens V, XC Ranges
Volvo is set to unleash the newly discovered power of its V and XC ranges. The unraveling of the new Scandinavian power will be made at this years Geneva Motor Show in March. The all-new Volvo V70 redefines the leadership of the automaker in the estate segment by adding more luxury, captivating style and refinement. The 2007 Volvo V70 is the third model to use the moniker. The current model is an estate version of its predecessors. In the middle of its recovery plan, the Ford Motor Co. is still crippled by frustrating sales and declining customers confidence. Earlier, a new internal report card reflected that the company is still missing its retail sales and cost-cutting goals. However, executives told employees last Wednesday of a new marketing campaign and expected concessions from suppliers that should keep its North American turnaround plan on track.
Ford earlier launched an advertising campaign designed to declare its recent quality gains. The campaign is also aimed at offering new incentives to alleviate diving sales of pickups. The new ads draw attention to Ford's success in the J.D. Power and Associates' annual survey of new car quality. Last week, the automaker astounded the industry by blowing past rival Toyota Motor Corp. to claim the most top quality awards in the latest quality survey.
Some ads will tout Ford's corporate-wide quality gains. An ad, which has earlier debuted, bears the tagline "Put the pedal to our medals." The tagline was placed over a photo of the five trophies the Dearborn-based automaker received from J.D. Power. Other ads will concentrate on the success of individual brands like Lincoln, the highest rated domestic luxury brand in the annual survey.
During a Webcast, Cisco Codina, Ford's group vice president in charge of sales, marketing and service for North America, told employees: "We're going to leverage this. He added Ford was surprised by the big incentives competitors offered during Memorial Day weekend. To note, Ford was the only one of the top six auto giants to see sales drop last month over May 2006. Oh Yeah, I Have A Home Business
Oh no the sun is up, it is bright out already. I didn't hear the alarm clock, I must have overslept. Wait a minute, Oh yeah., I work at home now, I have internet marketing business at home, I can sleep in when I want. No stress, no pressure and an enjoyable commute.
I want to get up now. I get ready for my commute, do I have gas in my car? Oh yeah, I have a home business now, I just down the hallway, wow, no traffic. I want to get a cup of coffee before I go to work. So I stop on my kitchen and get a cup. It's hot and fresh, it's not Starbucks but I can sit and enjoy it. Can you imagine this? I continue my commute to the office. Back down the hallway. I arrive and park in my computer chair. No worry about a place to park. No arguments about parking spaces.
I turn on my computer to check the night shift. Oh, guess what? I am the night shift too. The amazing thing about this wonderful business.......it is global and goes on 24 hours a day. It is such a good feeling to see that you earned money while you were sleeping. It is a win-win situation. Somebody got something good that they wanted in their life and you get an improvement in your future with earnings..
After checking the results from the night shift, can go do morning exercise. If that is how you want to plan your day. It is yours to plan as you want. Can you see yourself doing this? I can't imagine doing anything else now. You can join me. It's easy. You don't even have to go anywhere You can join me from where you are. That can be your office too. Putting it simply there are seven types of motes, all of which can be turned into their primal elements for free, just right click on a stack of 10, remember to check on the AH if its the primals or the motes that are selling for the most, a single primal water may go for 30g, but a small stack (Between one and five) of mote of water may go for more than if you combined it into a Primal.

Primal Shadow - 70s-2g each

Primal Mana can be ground fairly easily in Netherstorm (34,57) at the ruins of Enkaat. The mana wraiths there drop about 1-2 with a 30% drop rate. While this is easy enough there are better places to grind motes, that can later be exchanged for primal mana.
The best place by far to grind Motes is the Elemental Plateau (67,23) in Nagrand. This can only be reached by a flying mount, however it does contain a lot of level 70 Fire, Wind and water elementals, all of which drop their respective motes. This is a fantastic grinding spot, with the only flaw being it is slowly becoming filled with constant farmers, making it a slow way to get your motes sometimes. However if the plateau is full of other players there are alternatives.
There are 3 places you can go, each which has elements all below level 70.
For Air there is a place called the Alter of Shadows in Shadowmoon Valley (58,70) around here you will find a fair few air elementals, there are also some that roam about Nagrand, they are however too far apart for any effective grinding.
For Fire Elements there are several spots, also in Shadowmoon Valley, the most effective being at (34,27) and (47,47) where you will find a large amount of fire elementals and earth elementals. Be careful here though, there are several parts on the lava which deal 600-800 damage per tick, making it a difficult place to grind if you are not careful
My all time favourite grinding spot has to be for Primal Water, this is a spot just south of the Elemental Plateau in Nagrand (58,26) Here you will find hundreds of water elementals (levels 64-66), you can easily get 150g to 300g an hour grinding Primal water here, and that doesnt include the grey drops (about 30g an hour) and the greens 1 seems to drop every 20-30 minutes. This is based on a level 70 with good gear, if you are a lower level it will take you a little bit longer, especially as you will need to take a mana/food break more often!

If you are an alchemist you might want to turn your Primals into Primal Might.

Kelis Will Push it to the Edge
All-new Ford Edge will come with a new urban marketing campaign featuring the Grammy-nominated singer Kelis. The campaign titled "On the Edge," a creation of The Uniworld Group Detroit, will also feature a song entitled "Push it to the Edge" which was created by Kelis. Said marketing campaign will be aired today in major radio, print, television and Internet outlets throughout the country.
The marketing campaign starts with the Edge making a grand appearance in front of a paparazzi crowd and the photographers cannot keep their lens off the optional panoramic Vista Roof of Edge. Then, the roof slowly opens to reveal the dressed to impress Kelis.
Consumers will hear the song for about the new bold Ford crossover from the hip-hop artist starting today. "With a bold style that breaks the rules, Kelis is the perfect spokesperson for the Edge urban marketing campaign," said Jeri Ward, Ford Edge marketing manager. "Our target buyer can easily relate to Kelis' sharp and sophisticated style."
Kelly started wowing Ford enthusiasts on the 18th of this month at her husband's, rap icon Nas', black and white ball in New York City. The event is in connection with the celebration of the Nas album "Hip-Hop is Dead."
"I am an informed buyer who likes to shop around for what I like," said Kelis. "I prefer bold designs and that's what I see when I look at the Edge. I believe it was built to defy expectations and change people's perceptions, two concepts that have helped me define who I am."

Janett of New York City wanted to give the love of her life, Ron the surprise of his life to celebrate his 60th birthday that October.
She asked him, "Would it be OK if I gave you a trip for your birthday?" Of course, it was!
"Would it be OK if I didn't tell you where you were going, if I just gave you the list of things to pack?" Sure, he was happy to play along!
In 2000 she'd had a fabulous time on a cooking and wine tour in Italy's Barolo wine country. The same tour company was offering a cooking, wine and walking tour in Sicily. Ron, a food importer, former Italian restaurant owner and avid cook, would love a Sicily cooking tour.
In May she contacted the tour company and booked a tour in Sicily with three cooking lessons in restaurants by the sea, in the Mount Etna foothills and on the island of Stromboli.
They'd also walk in the exotic, black and green volcanic foothills of Mount Etna and Stromboli, both with active volcanoes. They'd drink good Sicilian wines, eat lots of seafood and enjoy a historical tour and shopping in beautiful Taormina.
She invited Ron's best friend, Tom and his wife, Donna to join them for this special celebration of love, friendship and big birthday. Even though they see Ron about three times a week, they managed to keep the Sicily tour a secret from him for four months.
Ron took the list of what to pack to his office. "A flashlight, a wind breaker, a bathing suit", he said, "Where do you think I'm going?"
Some co-workers guessed the Amazon River. In his heart he hoped he was going to Italy.
On the phone with the tour company owner, Janett chortled, "We're going to Rome first. He'll think we're going to Florence and Venice as well. He'll never guess we're going to Sicily!! I love surprise parties!"
When Janett and Ron got to JFK airport, Ron realized he was going to Rome and threw his arms around her in a long hug.
After two romantic days in Rome, they went to the Rome airport for their next flight.
With a little grin, Ron asked, "Where are you taking me now, Janett?"
"To Catania," she replied.
"Where's Catania?"
"In Sicily."
"Oh, Janett, thank you!," he cried as he threw his arms around her yet again.
At the gate for their Catania flight, Ron saw Tom and Donna sitting in the waiting area. "What are you guys doing here?" he asked, his eyes open wide.
They burst out laughing, "We're going with you on the tour in Sicily!"
Ron stood there glued to the spot, mouth open, unable to speak for a minute or two. He couldn't believe how the three of them had kept this secret from him!
In Sicily Janett, Ron, Donna and Tom laughed all week long at the goofy antics of their guide, Maurizio who had them singing and dancing to "New York, New York" on their first day. They laughed all week at comical situations with chefs in the kitchens in cooking lessons and at their own jokes and foibles.
They ate delicious, fresh, local plates like sardines stuffed with breadcrumbs, tomatoes, raisins, pine nuts and capers, pasta with pistachio nut sauce and cannoli stuffed with ricotta, candied fruit and chocolate chips.
In Taormina, a lovely town perched on a hillside overlooking the Mediterranean, by day they rambled in and out of shops and explored the Greek theatre with a guide to discover layers of Sicilian history. In the moonlight, they strolled in flower filled gardens with panoramas of Mount Etna and the sea.
At sunset time on the island of Stromboli, they walked in the foot hills far below the rumbling volcano up to a restaurant set above the sea.
There on the patio, they watched the sky turn orange and pink over the clear blue water, black volcanic sand and brilliant white houses below. When darkness fell, they marveled at the volcano hurling its fire like fireworks into the sky.
That week both couples forgot their "always on the run" lives and slowed down. They went to bed early, partly to catch up on much needed sleep and partly to spend peaceful, quality time together.
At the gala seafood dinner on the last night, everyone made toasts. Janett made a toast to the love of her life, Ron.
He thanked her for such a fabulous birthday surprise and hugged and kissed her. She started crying and everyone had tears in their eyes. Ron said, "I've never seen Janett cry before."
About the tour Ron said, "It was a magical experience, one you have to live because it is impossible to describe." Especially if it's a surprise celebration you share with the love of your life.

The Lake House (2006) - DVD Review
Have you been searching for a romantic story that shows how an extremely self reliant woman and a self-made independent man can fall deeply in love? Even if they are really out of sync with each another? If so, then the film "Lake House" is one that you will love to watch. Set in northern Illinois on the Lake Michigan shore, the setting makes a beautiful place for two people to figure out their isolated lives and how to deal with their frustrating jobs.
Starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, this touching drama is actually based on a story retold from a Korean movie titled "Siworae". The film is skillfully directed by Alejandro Atresti as it reveals a mystery centered around a mailbox in front of a house on Lake Michigan that somehow is able to bridge time between the two strangers.
